1. Financing
Everyone has different financial needs and
priorities. We want you to be able to afford quality care and so we
have created some unique offers and a range of payment choices.
1. We currently offer a 5% courtesy in the actual
treatment (full treatment only) fee to patients who personally pay their
entire balance before starting treatment. This is not good with any
special offers or other plans, however.
2. We offer an interest free plan for patients who
pay a significant down payment and regular monthly fees during active
full treatment care (not retainer care).
3. We help our qualified patients enroll in Care Credit and OFP programs
so they do not need to make a substantial initial payment. That
is right, no substantial initial payments! These companies
offer minimal monthly payment plans to those they accept.
4. We accept most credit cards so that you can get “miles”.
5. We help you get your full benefits from your insurance companies.
6. Special Offers: Seasonal variations and a desire

Dr. Salem was one of the very first in treating children
and adults with the miniaturized S.P.E.E.D. braces starting 25 years
ago! He is an authority in this leading edge technique. The S.P.E.E.D.
braces are the smallest, easiest to clean, most physiologic and comfortable
self-ligating braces available. We also use the awesome Supercable wire that is unique to the S.P.E.E.D. system because it is so gentle. Average treatment time is 25% shorter
than conventional braces.

8. Surgical-Orthodontics to relieve facial assymetry
There are times when an adults' face is way too long, way too short, shifted to the right or left, or the upper jaw is too far forward or even the lower jaw is too far forward. These can exist in combinations in all three plains of space. Of course, the misplaced teeth can't fit together to function if the jaws are so different from each other; there can be extreme wear on the teeth, and there is usually an unattractive smile. All of this began with growth or an accident that moved the jaws into disharmony.
Adult patients come to me with these too obvious problems in mind. A patient in their early twenties is a good time to correct these major problems, but many patients come in during the 30's, 40's and 50's.
Why the early 20's? There is probably no growth left to confuse matters. They are the healthiest they can be. They have the longest time to enjoy the results of this dramatic care.
The ultimate solution, then, is in correcting the jaw relations and tooth relations in an overlapping plan with other specialists. I do an extremely careful diagnosis and create a team to manage this problem with the patients' safety and desires foremost in my mind.
Skeletal disharmony exists in about 5% of the population. The best differential diagnosis is done by collecting the proper records, and then utilizing my 35 years of experience, training, and study. I want to help the patient decide what approach will produce the best result that they can apppreciate.
I bring in only the best specialists and create the team that works together. The patient gets to meet the oral surgeon, too, to hear the explanation of what they can do.
For 35 years, I have created the sequencing of the specialists (this may include plastic surgeons, general dentists, gum specialists) to ensure the safest approaches to
surgical-orthodontics patient care. Each specialist does their part at the appropriate time.
Jaw surgery with orthodontics does present separate risks and that is why I only recommend surgery when all other alternatives and compromises have been very carefully considered and ruled out.
Because this must make sense to the patient, considerable time is also spent in explaining findings to the patient.
Ben Franklin wisely advised, "Measure twice, cut once."
After all the efforts, the patient is happiest for the preparation and care they received.

9. Jaw Joint Issues (TMJ)
These irritating problems can sometimes be helped with
bite guards, sometimes orthodontics alone, and more often by a combined
multi-disciplinary approach. Dr. Salem works with the best specialists
in the field and can tackle the most complicated cases.

10. Braces Breakage and Retainer Breakage
While we all know that
care of the braces requires discipline on the patient's part, we are
also dealing with patients who may not remember what they should not
bite into and have some accidental breakage. We will pick up the cost
for the repair and replacement of the first three broken braces or
broken wires at no charge to you.
We offer the first set
of retainers following full treatment for free!
And we give our great
patients a free year of of retainer checkup
visits!
